The design interface I decided to use was an iPhone X as it’s one of the latest and most popular phones at the moment. Not only this, but this phone enables a new feature called 3D touch which I thought I could incorporate into my project. With some research, I came across a video on the interface guidelines provided by Apple for designing for an iPhone X.

In comparison to other iPhones, the iPhone X has a display triple the size of the display. Therefore, requiring higher resolution images but the width is just the same as an iPhone 6, 7 or 8 whereas the height is longer providing about 20 per cent more space for content. Plus, due to there being no home button like other iPhones the indicator displayed at the bottom of the screen has to be taken into to consideration as it displays itself over the app’s interface. Also, any important content or visuals should not be displayed in the corners because when responding to smaller devices they would not appear.

Above, are important notes I have taken down when designing my work.
