This is our completed website www.stoppingtime.club. As you enter the website the first thing you notice is the bold colour scheme: black & white. The reason behind this is that we wanted to focus the user’s attention to the text. Also, by doing this we are forcing the user to read the text. The text itself is in a form of a box so once the user reads ‘click here’ they realise it’s a button, and that the button disguises what is yet to be revealed, which is the video. Once they have clicked onto the button the video appears and it’s up to the user whether they want the video to be played automatically or if they would like to control the speed of the video.Overall, I’m satisfied with the simpicty of the website as we produced it using HTML & CSS. We could of gone with one of our previous ideas which would of engaged with the user more as it would of looked more interesting. Nevertheless, we managed to organise ourselves well and got to experiment a few times before producing this website.
